Folksy Friday is an incentive by members to recommend other vendors wares. You may think this is a little bit backwards in terms of competitive sales but that's what makes Folksy different, cosy and communial. This also gives me the opportunity to showcase some of the items that I have found inspiring, and let you have access to some wonderful creations that have sprung up in the UK.
My first Folksy Friday will be themed around hair accessories, because I am a girl and what could be better than adorning your lovely locks with hand made, unique items that nobody else owns and that everyone will talk about, after all its attention that we strive for!
The high street can only ever offer something that you are likely to see some one else wearing and that you pull out of your hair ten minutes later in the toilet, so why not take a look around and find yourself a quirky, individual look that will be the envy of all and sundry.
Here, then, are some of the items that I think will set you apart from the rest. I have grouped the lsitings in three seperate catogaries- Children ( so they can set the playground alight, and you can coolly comment on the fact 'it's bespoke') - Everyday ( Effortlessly casual and still standing out from the crowd) -and special occasion ( so all the other last minute.coms turn green over something they would never have the imagination to source or create)
Enjoy then my first, Hair themed Folksy Friday:
